I found

an amazing artist

he made me think as deep as a 18 year old could, just like my grade 10 revelation when I heard
Damien Rices "Blower's Daughter".

Made me think of love, but really I didn't know much then.. I think we were cliched "fated to pretend" (MGMT reference, I'm sorry I simply couldn't resist). Back on track this song

"Brittle Bones - Richard Walters"

is simply gorgeous.

reminds me of everything and any memory, just flows in and out of melodious thoughts.
he isn't the only artist I stumbled upon this week, and yes I am quite aware this song is an old one for people who move at the speed of lighting in the musical world.

"Forget Me Not - Thieves Like Us"

I cant stop listening to it.
"forget me forget me not, was a lie" the on going lyric in my head

"Make out Point - The Young Friends"

Far out makes me feel like I could be on the set of "Adventureland" or hyped up on an Ellen Page film.

"Youth - Beach Fossils"

Makes the whole world just disappear and leaves me stranded in a ray of light.
In that ray of light, I am amazed, amazed about everything.

I would continue this but my fingers are cold and I think I miss my bed.

Thoughts of a mid night hour

I can't help but think that blogs and other time consuming things you can do on the internet seem to contribute to nothing. Are you wasting time? Are you posing? Or does this mean something to you? Do we really know anything about the blogger or person who types behind the computer screen?

Well I will tell you the facts of this blogger right now.

a) I have just had a wonderful weekend which involved a lot of self indulgent behaviour (not really) but in a way yes.
b) I'm feeling extremely guilty about the fact I ate a Cesar Chicken Wrap from McDonalds. Why I hear you think, well, I shouldn't have it was completely unnecessary. I already had sushi and a boost juice my debit card doesn't need the extra strain.
c) My phone is about to die but I can't be bother to fumble through my bag to find the charger cord to my computer because I have tooth mouse in my mouth and a huge amount of saliva. (Gross) But the dentist said it's necessary to get rid of the signs of decay.

I am so scared my teeth will grow into decayed old men style teeth, it seems I focus on one feature and the other ones seem to be forgotten.

Maybe I should work on it? The whole "love yourself Aicha, you are worth it"

I should stop typing now.

It's kinda cold and I lost my blanket :(

I love life, I'm just venting.

Dream Girl

-

Shoes

I wish I could shop in "Nine West" & "Tony Bianco" but my size 11 feet prove it impossible, instead I shop at Joanne Mercer, Zu, Wittner and my all time favourite Target.

Target was my childhood haven and so was the salvos, red cross and any "Op shop" I guess most people call them. Growing up, I couldn't afford to probably buy a dress from Target but the Vinnies down the road was my treasure chest.

So much has changed, I have grown, Vinnies now seems to a past memory, the prices are now ridiculous and apparently Vinnie's (or some other charity store) is self owned. Meaning, none of the money goes to charity.

You can find me in random high-priced boutiques (wishing I could afford it all) or on lennox (my apple laptop) browsing the web stores of luxury. My mother is now opening a store in paddington and tomorrow I am photographing the clothes for the website, pretty excited cause I get paid for it.

Love and pieces of hope.

Aicha.

enjoy life

tut's note today:

Invariably, Aicha, a sudden disappointment, a bit of "bad" news, or a flock of butterflies gathering in your stomach, are all omens that a fabulous adventure is fast approaching.

Hit me baby,
The Universe
